This fund enables the President to respond in a timely manner to emerging opportunities for the benefit of the University.

During the 2003-2004 academic year, President's Fund dollars made possible a visit to the campus of Actors from the London Stage. They performed for students in the classroom, as well as for President's circle donors at a special presentation.

In addition, the President's Fund assisted Student Government President, Becca Gasier, to travel to South Africa to study in Capetown and the northeastern provinces of South Africa as an Eisenhower Scholar.
