Author, Activist to Speak November 29

WHO:  Luis Rodriguez, author and activist

WHEN:  Tuesday, November 29, 7 p.m.

WHERE:  California State University Channel Islands, Science Auditorium. Follow event signs to designated parking.

WHAT:  At the above place and time, Luis Rodriguez, poet, memoir writer, author of adolescent literature, and youth organizer, will present a talk sponsored by Joan Peters, CSUCI assistant professor of English, Frank Barajas, assistant professor of English, and the CSUCI Multicultural and Women’s & Gender Center. Rodriguez is author of Always Running: La Vida Loca, Gang Days in L.A., and Narratives of Southern California. The event is free and open to the public.
