CSUCI Presents Children's Reading Event

WHO: Children of California State University Channel Islands faculty, staff, and members of the community; California State University Channel Islands students

WHEN:  Saturday, April 9, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

WHERE: California State University Channel Islands library, One University Drive, Camarillo. Follow event signs to parking.

WHAT: The “Children’s Reading Celebration” features CSUCI students reading classic and award-winning children’s books to children of  University faculty and staff as well as members of the community. Other activities include book-making and interactive
art projects related to books, and, weather permitting, chalk drawings of favorite stories on the sidewalks surrounding the library. Each child must be accompanied by an adult. The event, sponsored by the CSUCI library and the English: Writing and Literature program, is free an open to the public.
