
You have many choices for care when you are sick. Use the list below to determine where you can receive the care that best meets your needs:
Call or come to Student Health Services on campus during our clinic hours. Although appointments are necessary for most non-urgent needs, every attempt is made to provide same-day service to students with acute illnesses or urgent concerns. Walk-in visits are accommodated as the schedule allows.

University Police are trained to deal with on-campus medical emergencies. They can be contacted by dialing 911 or 437-8888 (ext. 8888 from on-campus phones) if you are very ill and need to be transported to the Student Health and Counseling Center.
If you are ill and Student Health Services is closed or you cannot get to campus, health care services are available through the Ventura County Ambulatory Care Clinics. Students must present their CI student identification card before receiving services. As with the campus clinic, fees will be charged for lab services, x-rays, and care beyond basic student health services. You should call the clinic in your area for an appointment or urgent care information. Sites most familiar with CI students are marked with an *.
