The Outstanding Group Award
This award is presented to a student group on campus (groups that have members/officers that are paid and/or groups that are coordinated by a paid staff/faculty/administrator). The recipient of this award:
- Has made an impact on the campus and/or local community
- Assists in the advancement of other groups and/or departments
- Contributes to the leadership development of its members
- Is committed to academic excellence and student involvement
- Provides consistent high-quality contributions through events/activities sponsored or co-sponsored by the club or organization
- Demonstrates the ability to recognize a specific need and affect positive change

This award is presented to a club or organization consisting solely of volunteers and not coordinated by a paid staff/faculty/administrator. The recipient of this award:
- Has made an impact on the campus and/or local community

- Contributes to the leadership development of its members
- Is committed to academic excellence and student involvement
- Provides consistent high-quality contributions through events/activities sponsored or co-sponsored by the club or organization
- Demonstrates the ability to recognize a specific need and affect positive change

Most Promising Group Award
This award is presented to a club or organization that has been active for two semesters or less. The recipient of this award:
- Has demonstrated the potential to make significant impact on the campus community
- Contributes to the leadership development of its members
- Is committed to academic excellence and student involvement
- Provides consistent high-quality contributions through events/activities sponsored or co-sponsored by the club or organization
- Demonstrates the ability to recognize a specific need and affect positive change
